Description

A large independent company that offers financial services worldwide is looking for a Facilities Manager to manage their US operations facility located in North Houston.



Job Summary:
Directs and manages Houston facility operations. Oversees facilities infrastructure, building systems, services, safety and security programs. Will be responsible for building maintenance, modifications and policies and procedures.



Job breakdown:
Maintain interface with third party owners/Landlords ensuring total contract compliance and lease accuracy
Will have future supervisory responsibly of staff which will include; scheduling of work assignments, hiring, training and performance evaluations
Prepare and manage property budgets
Develop and manage of safety and security programs
Quarterly review and analysis of all changes in state, federal and local laws and regulations with such organizations as OSHA and EPA
Facilitate and managed facility projects as needed
Vendor contract negotiations and management
Engage in contractor relationships and negotiations as needed




Requirements

Must have at least 5 years of Facilities Management experience
Must have a Bachelors Degree
Must have at least 3 years of managing facilities personnel
Need to have experience in budgets preparations and fiscal management
The ability to examine and re-engineer operations and procedures, formulating policy, developing, implementing new strategies and procedures
Knowledge of applicable federal, state and local laws
Ability to execute and prioritize multiple projects at one time
Familiarity with Visio for space and furniture planning a plus
Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred
